Zone system

A system developed by Ansel Adams that considers subject brightness and negative exposure which, when combined with developing and printing gives you total control over the final prints tone values.

Zoom flash

A flash with the capability to adjust the width of its light beam to best fit the angle of view of the lens in use.

Zoom lens

Lens with variable focal length within a certain range.
